21 Photos To Inspire You To Travel To Switzerland
Nowhere in the world takes my breath away quite like Gimmelwald, Switzerland. Perhaps more popularly known as the region of Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland or the Bernese Oberland region.
Last year, I was a little apprehensive leading up to my trip to Torres Del Paine National Park in Patagonia. I sincerely felt like if I enjoyed mountains somewhere in the world more than I enjoyed Mürren or Gimmelwald that somehow I lacked faithfulness or loyalty... that I'd be cheating on the Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger.
I'm proud to say, even the icy green waters reflecting snow-capped peaks of Patagonia didn't claim my heart (though I admit she makes a heart-throbbing mistress).
Something in me remained true to dear old Lauterbrunnen. Someday I will write a post about where to stay and what to do in this hidden treasure nook of the earth.
You will find my absolute favorite picture I have ever taken at the bottom of this post.
